Question by : Right after I join (or quit) a Yahoo Group, what is supposed to occur?
with my Email address? Isn't it a huge "no-no" for a specific individual in the group to preserve it and "spam me?" I have an sbcglobal address. The undesirable emails are comming from a gmail address. Is there truly anything I can do? This individual could just say they got my e-mail address off a bathroom wall or a thing. This individual is also no longer involved on the board of the associtaion the Yahoo Group represents. Should not they have had to relinquish this details?
What is the policy and am I "secure" joining Yahoo Groups in the future? This individual is not going to harm me in any way except
a possible heart attack from how angry I am. I blocked her email address. I just find it so Incorrect.
I am truly disappointed because the group I joined sports the City of Los Angeles Seal on their internet website. It's not like I joined some thing funky. I appriciate all the answers, but I genuinely wanted to know the precise protocal of what was supposed to be accomplished as I have never ever "produced" a Yahoo group. I did not truly get my answer, but every person attempted, so the person with the least points will win.

for you to be safe the next time you join groups, attempt to join only those who are closed or restricted groups only that no one can just very easily get in wothout the owner's or moderator's approval. also. those groups that allow their members to hide their e-mail address would be the finest ones to join to secure you email Address.
