What is the best gun safe to buy for around $1500 to $2000?
I am looking for a gun safe that will offer theft protection and fire protection. I've looked at Sportsman Steel, Liberty, and Sturdy Safe. I know Ft. Knox, Amsec, and Graffunder are all great safes, but they are way out of my price range. Anyone have suggestions or advice?
Graffunder have the best safety record on the books at this moment in time..

Doesn’t matter which one you get if you do not securely bolt it to the floor from the inside of the safe. Wood floors and walls make it almost impossible to secure enough. I am not in favor of the super heavy safes that can not be moved by one person even when they are unbolted. I’d look for one with heavy enough steel that it can’t be pried or cut with shears, and that has a secure locking mechanism. Even fireproof safes do not require inches thick armor.
