Who do i look for when trying to find a contact for moving a very heavy safe the size of a gun safe?

It is not a Gun Safe but a old jewerly store safe filled with concrete on the bottom, and its in the basement of a house?
Call someone who is strong, in my area I would call 2 men and a truck they claim to be able to move anything. Good luck with your move.

Call a professional mover. Tell them what you have, and be prepared for the worst. If its way too much, looking in to buying a "power-lift" hand truck. They have tracks and motors to help lift stuff like this up stairs.

rent a pallet jack and get all the friends you can find. do you have acess to small forklift or bobcat loader. some rental places have them small enough to fit through doorways but may not have capacity to lift that kind of weight.
